Summer is Here

Now that Memorial Day has come and gone, summer is officially here! It's time to pull all of your shorts and maxi dresses from the back of your closet and put them to use!

If you have been reading my blog for some time now, you know that I love a romper and a jumpsuit! Anything that is simple and allows me to dress it up with great make-up and simply glam jewelry is perfect for me! One of the many reasons I love rompers and jumpsuits (AKA onesies!), is because they are very easy to dress up or down. I found both of these pieces at New York & Co. for less than $40.00 each! The romper was on sale for $25.00 and the vest was originally 59.99; however New York & Co. always has coupons! So I paid only $34.95! WOO HOO!!

New York & Co. is one of my favorite stores to shop in for both work and leisure because they carry a variety of sizes for tall, average, and petite. And, I can easily leave there not feeling like I broke the bank! I never go in there with out a coupon! My advice to all my glamazons is to check either New York & Co., or RetailMeNot for great savings!

Changing Sets

HAPPY MEMORIAL DAY!!

One of the trends I am super excited about for this summer is matching sets! Having matching sets allows for so many different looks! I found this great short set at Forever21+ and I have been mixing and matching the pieces to create as many different looks as I can. Pajama Day

I recently finished four weeks of travel for five day workshops, and the only thing I can think of is laying low to re-fuel for the next set of workshops. Not only do I love vegging-out at home; watching TV and clearing out my DVR, painting my nails, washing my hair, but a great pair of pajamas always makes the day or weekend even better!!

We Wear Suits to Work

Currently, I am trying to update my wardrobe for work and the task has not been an easy one! I was once told by someone on my career path, "Always dress for the job you want!".  The trouble I most often run into is finding pieces that are appropriate for work and professional .

I can always find something great at New York & Co., however I have learned over the years that having a really great tailor is incredibly important to ensuring your suits and dresses fit well.

Striped Dress

Once again I have head a very busy two weeks and I am glad to be home! 

When I get home from a busy travel week or weeks with my job, I always have errands to catch up. So, throwing on an easy dress and a pair of sneakers is the best uniform for running around town.
