Olive Dress

There has been so much going on lately that it has made me think about how precious life is. We only get one chance to have a great life, and we need to try our hardest not to take any of it for granted. We should tell our loved ones we love them, be grateful for the things we have, and the things we don't. Life is too short to have regrets, so live each day like it is the last!

Take care of yourselves Glamazons.

The City of New Orleans

A few weeks ago I took a trip to New Orleans with one of my close friends. We decided to do something before the year got too busy with work and our busy lives.

If you have never been to New Orleans I suggest you get there! It is an amazing city! The people are so friendly, the food is amazing, and the city is beyond beautiful! We took a tour of the city, shopped in the French Market, went out on Bourbon Street, visited Cafe Du Monde (four times), and went on a swamp boat ride!

The city of New Orleans has really come together as a family all these years after hurricane Katrina. The people of the city are so proud of their city and there is a sense of comradery there that contagious.  If you get a break in your schedule, take a trip to New Orleans and see the gem of a city in our beautiful country!

Happy New Year

Every year we make resolutions for the new year and about 50% of of us actually keep those resolutions. However, the great thing about each year is that we learn life lessons that we take with us in the new year. Here are a few things I learned in 2015 and will take with me into 2016.
  1. Sometimes people are in your life for a reason and a season.
  2. Spend your money on skincare...it's worth it in the long run!
  3. Good things come to those who are willing to wait.
  4. No one EVER says, "That's cute, what size is it?" So get things tailored!
  5. Never let anyone steal your sparkle!
  6. Don't ever allow yourself to have bad days...just bad moments.
  7. A little bit of alone time is good occasionally.
  8. It's okay to spend money to pamper yourself...bi-weekly.
  9. Call you mother more often.
  10. Call your father too!
  11. A bit of discomfort will make you grow.
  12. Make sure you laugh every day.
I hope these few things will add a bit of assistance in the new year! May 2016 be all that you hope it to be!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!
