Who doesn't love a two piece set? I absolutely do! It makes getting dressed so much easier because you already know what pieces will go together. I usually spend too much time thinking about what I have in my closet that will work together. When I know there is super cute set in my closet, I am ready to go in a flash! Well...not really but you know what I mean. I of course need to add shoes, a great bag and some jewelry.

Urban Jungle

LA is no doubt an urban jungle. There is always something going on or something to see! If you are bored or not sure what to do, just walk outside. I am not from a world of having something to do but I will say that I have grown to love it! As a matter of fact, expect it!

Just because there is always something going on, don't assume I need to be dressed 'to the nines' at all times. Now don't get me wrong I do love getting dressed all the way up, but sometimes you will catch me strolling casually through DTLA for lunch, strong drinks, and browsing through a sample sale.

That Pink Door

Part of living in Southern California means you have a right of passage to visit one of the most coveted places of relaxation-Palm Springs. Palm Springs is a desert filled with great restaurants, amazing architecture, and even more amazing shopping. One of my best friends and I decided to have a girls weekend out in Palms Springs, so one Friday after work I took the drive out to meet her. It was wonderful. We slept in, had delicious meals and got some quality shopping and gossip time in. 

I was really looking forward to seeing all of the super amazing architecture there. Palm Springs is known for having some of the most beautiful mid-century modern homes. So I of course did some research and found this house with the most beautiful door! This home is known as 'That Pink Door' and is in the most quiet quaint suburban neighborhood. It is simple and gorgeous! 

What I love about traveling; whether it be a long or short trip, is that there are always such great places to see. Every city has it's own little gems that make for the best photo-ops! I promised myself as a young girl that I would see the world. Palm Springs may not be too far away but it is the perfect simple town with a lot of glam!
