Golden Turban

Sometimes there are pieces that speak to you. For me it is usually a dress, a romper, or maybe even a pair of shoes. This time it was a turban from Unique Vintage. I have plenty of hats and scarves to cover my hair when it is raining, when I'm in cold weather, or when I need to wash my hair, so this turban will work wonderfully! And the fact that it is gold just makes it even better! It makes me feel like a 1930s movie star!

I will always be one for adding a touch of glam to my outfit for the day, so this is perfect! I can wear this with a great pair of leggings, a maxi dress, or boyfriend jeans and a t-shirt and I am instantly glamorous! TAH-DAAH!

Power Suit

Part of being Simply Glam is making every outfit I wear as easy as I can. Which is why this jumpsuit from REBDOLLS and jacket from Torrid are my new favorites! If you have been on this journey with me for a while you should know by now that a jumpsuit or a romper are my favorite pieces to wear! Then next is a dress of course! This jumpsuit is perfect because it has a good amount of stretch, however the dark color provides a bit of camouflage. Plus the cuts in the knees give it some pizzazz! 

Putting this combo together was a must. When I tried the jacket on I instantly felt like a boss. POWERFUL. Maybe it's because of the military vibe? But, I knew for sure when I paired it with this jumpsuit that this was my new power suit! There is something about wearing pieces that make you feel great that van give you a sense of power. Like you can take over the world. In reality I am only running around town, but I'll make sure I do it like a boss!

Pinstripes and a Bow

Sometimes it feels good to switch things up in my wardrobe. I originally bought this top from New York & Co. to wear to work however, when I tried it with these jeans from Old Navy, I thought "hmmm... I kinda like this!" This was not was I was planning, but I like it! And here it is!
