Things are finally starting to warm up here in L.A. It was cold and raining for longer than Angelenos are used to and people were starting to get antsy. It's been a very slow commencement to the spring season. 

For this season I've really been into the polka dot trend. Polka dots are so fun and lively, so bringing in a new season with a spirited print is perfect. This easy to wear dress with a keyhole cut-out in the back is the perfect playful polka dot dress I'll be wearing throughout the spring season.

Double Trouble

There are often times when I love something so much that I feel like I have it in every color! You know the old saying, "If you like it so much, buy it in every color!" CONFESSION: I do that all the time!

These jumpsuits are perfect for spring and summer! I can throw them on or throw them in a bag for an overnight trip and I am ready! I love when I find pieces that are jersey and can be dressed up or down. The simplicity makes my life so much easier!

Off the Sholder

I've really been into finding new tops to wear for spring and summer and I found this off-the-shoulder top at Forever 21+. At first I wasn't sure if it was going to be doable but once I tried it on I knew it would work! When I was trying to figure out what to wear it with I kept being drawn right back to these black jeans from Old Navy. Once I had the look together it made me think of Dorothy Dandridge in Carmen! Off-the-shoulder will always be sexy and flattering to the decolletage.

Whoever said that plus size girls shouldn't wear white, was sadly mistaken! I often feel liberated when I find a piece of clothing in white because I feel even more feminine than normal.Now that we're right in the middle of spring and summer is on his way I feel even more obligated to wear white and more so this dress!  And the fact that this dress is bodycon I'm more inclined to wear it! 

I feel like I should be going to a summer evening dinner or maybe even a white party in this dress! Have you ever bought a dress or a piece of clothing with the intent of wearing it somewhere you haven't even been invited to yet?! LOL!! 

Easter Dress

When I was a child, every year for Easter my mother would buy me a new dress for Easter Sunday at church. I would look forward to the new frilly dress that was bright, flowery and always had the twirl factor I needed! Now, as an adult I find myself doing the same thing! The spring season always brings floral prints, pastels and color schemes that make us all swoon. 

I found this dress at NY&CO recently and knew it was perfect! NY&CO always has great dress for any occasion. I can always walk in there (with a coupon of course!) and find something great!
